- Because it's fun!
- Because I'm nostalgic for the depth of conversation, interaction, and community I enjoyed more than a decade ago.
- Because I realized, while blogging on a monetized platform, that "what attracts clicks" and "what I am interested in writing" are almost entirely exclusive categories.
- Because things written on Facebook rush away down the newsfeed and can't be found when I want to reference them later.
- Because I want to encourage my friends to start blogging again too!
